WHERE IS HOME AND WHAT ARE YOUR MUST-DO’S FOR ANY TRAVELLERS VISITING?
Z: I have two homes, where I grew up and where we live now, Waiheke and Montauk. They are both small tight communities living close with the ocean. The must dos for each are the same. Sunrise to sunset, be at the beach.
T: Home is where we reset from work, and that’s Montauk, NY, we love having friends over and usually want to show them the laid back version of Montauk. Home cooked meals from the farm and garden , bonfires, and secluded beaches and waves to surf :)
HOW DO YOU FIND TRAVELLING AND WORKING AS A FAMILY?
T: It feels like we’ve unlocked some secret code to life honestly. Couldn’t be luckier or happier about our little pack traveling together and making memories around the world.
WHAT IS YOUR NUMBER ONE PACKING TIP?
T: My packing solution is sadly not ideal as I travel with a lot of old cameras and much film. Everything needs to be hand checked and on board with me to stay safe. So I just end up packing very lightly, a pair of trunks, a couple shirts, hat and sunscreen and whatever pants I’m wearing become my dressed up outfit if we go to dinner somewhere that requires me not to be wearing wet shorts.
WHAT’S ON YOUR TRAVEL PLAYLIST?
T: Jennifer Lara at the moment has been a strong go to mood.
WHERE IS YOUR ULTIMATE BUCKET LIST DESTINATION?
T: Somewhere in the Indian Ocean would be nice to explore.
